About

Quiet pictures of quiet places.

I make landscape, wildlife, and travel photographs with an eye toward stillness: weather, distance, animal movement, old roads, and the small human traces that make a place feel remembered.

This site is the permanent home for that work. It holds the collections, the viewing rooms, and the small print shop that lets a photograph leave the screen without losing its quiet.

From the archive

Field notes, not spectacle.

The photographs here are organized around where they were made and what held my attention there. Some are broad landscapes. Some are birds, animals, weather, or the quiet edge of travel. The common thread is a preference for patient looking over performance.

The viewing rooms are built to slow the site down on purpose. You can see the image first, read the story card when it appears, and only then decide whether it belongs somewhere off-screen as a print.
